I’m Dr. Adam Hamawy. I’m a father, a husband, a humanitarian, a surgeon, a veteran, and a small business owner. I’ve dedicated my life to serving others, and I’m running for Congress in New Jersey’s 12th District to build a government that works for you, not special interests.
Like so many of you, I’m furious about what’s happening in our country. ICE is terrorizing communities and murdering American citizens in broad daylight. Families are living in constant fear that they’ll be kidnapped or killed. Our government is sinking deeper into a cesspool of corruption, and trampling on our civil rights to silence us and bully us into submission.
Meanwhile, across our communities, people are doing everything right and still falling behind.
This is not about Republicans or Democrats. Both parties have failed to address the problems facing our families – affordability, healthcare, education, and so much more. Congress has the power to solve our problems instead of making them worse, but only if we elect Members with the courage to fight for us.
I’m stepping up now to fight for you because the people of New Jersey’s 12th district deserve a leader that puts our interests first, not billionaires and special interests.
Working Families Are

Healthcare is unaffordable
You struggle to get care even when you have insurance. Premiums are high, coverage is limited, and access keeps shrinking. Meanwhile, insurance and drug companies profit while patients and providers pay the price.
Public Schools
Are Falling Behind
Many parents turn to tutoring and after-school programs to fill the gaps. That should not be necessary in a state like New Jersey. Every child deserves a great public education.
Everything Costs Too Much
Housing, groceries, and utilities keep getting more expensive. Families work harder and still fall behind. The economy works for corporations and billionaires, not the people who build and sustain our communities.
Across our communities, people are doing everything right and still falling behind.
But our system isn’t broken – it’s working for exactly the people it was built to serve – the wealthy and powerful few.
We need leadership that puts our interests first, not billionaires and special interests.
